At half past eight, the shuttle leaves for the valley station. On freshly groomed slopes, you carve the first turns of the day. A stop at a mountain hut, one last run, and then it’s back to the chalet: ski boots off, straight into the sauna. Outside, the hot tub steams in the clear winter air. In the evening, a fire crackles in the hearth.
